  • Demonstrated top-notch legal research, analysis and writing abilities, including fluent working knowledge and understanding of California and federal court procedural and evidence rules;
  • Experience working on defense of wage and hour class actions or collective actions (such as discovery, witness interviews and class certification) with partner and/or senior attorney oversight;

  • Experience taking and defending depositions;
  • Experience presenting oral arguments at state and federal trial court hearings;
  • Administrative hearing experience (such as before the California Labor Commissioner);
  • Appellate experience preferred but not required;
