Recognizing our commitment to diversity, we were named the inaugural recipient of International Paper’s Lighthouse Award — presented to International Paper’s legal department supplier, who by example and leadership, distinguished itself in the area of diversity.

The Minority Corporate Counsel Association — a Washington, D.C. - based nonprofit organization committed to fostering diversity in the legal profession — awarded us its prestigious Thomas L. Sager Award for our commitment to hiring, retaining and promoting ethnic minority lawyers.

Several of our clients are represented on MCCA’s board of directors; we’ve been an active member of the association’s Outside Counsel Strategic Planning Committee and in raising funds to support the group’s minority job bank; and we provided significant support to the group’s first annual CLE Expo.

All this in addition to a merger with a minority-owned law firm; joint ventures with other minority law firms; and ongoing participation in countless minority job fairs, seminars on minority hiring, and career panels sponsored by law school placement offices and student organizations.
