The firm’s remote communication capability allows lawyers and staff to tap into the firm’s institutional knowledge from their offices, their homes, or wherever their travels may require. As a result, our lawyers get the flexibility to work when and where they need to, and our clients get the responsiveness and communication that are the hallmark of McGuireWoods’ service. We encourage and provide financial support for the use of smart phones, BlackBerry’s and PDA’s. We provide mobile computing capabilities to those who need it, and we provide multiple methods of remote access including VPN’s and Citrix capabilities.

We also provide extensive repositories for our lawyers to capitalize on the work product of others within the firm. We do not believe that reinventing the wheel benefits either the firm or its clients, and we regularly employ knowledge management techniques and technology to maximize our work product, and to permit our lawyers to focus on high value, high judgment tasks.
